Supply Chain Director
Anoop Shrivastava is the Supply Chain Director at Mobius and brings 22 years of experience in supply chain transformation, encompassing strategic sourcing, supplier development, procurement, and logistics. He brings expertise in automotive applications across a broad range of materials and technologies. Anoop headed logistics at Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, and was previously at Ingersoll Rand, Deibold Inc., Parker Hannifin, Godrej & Boyce, and Electrolux. He is an active member of industry associations, including the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers and the Confederation of Indian Industries. Anoop is a graduate of SGS Institute of Technology & Science in Indore.
Mobius is led by Joel Jackson, an internationally-awarded entrepreneur recognised in the Forbes 30 under 30, Clinton Global Initiative, TED Global and the UN. Before Mobius, Joel worked on business strategy with an acclaimed microforestry social enterprise in rural Kenya. It was here that he first experienced the challenges facing millions of people throughout the continent without access to appropriate forms of transport. Joel also worked as a Management Consultant, advising top Fortune 500 companies across Europe and North America. He is the recipient of the TED Fellowship, Wired Innovation Fellowship and Echoing Green Fellowship and a graduate of Imperial College with a first class degree in Computer Science.
Sunru Yong is Chief Operating Officer at Mobius and brings experience across multiple sectors, including agribusiness, consumer products, industrial goods, financial services, and technology. Previously, he was a manager at Bain & Company, a leading global strategy consultancy. He also led international business development in the launch of Victorinox/Swiss Army Travel Gear. Sunru was a Global Fellow at the Acumen Fund and holds degrees from Washington University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Markus Schroder Ph.D. has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and aftersales and worked in different automotive OEMs. Previously, as Global Marketing Director of Skoda Auto, he was responsible for the marketing strategy and the successful re-positioning of Skoda, the second largest volume brand within the Volkswagen Group. As Launch Program & Marketing Director, Markus was responsible for operational sales and marketing readiness for a new automotive OEM in Shanghai. He has a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration and a Ph.D. from the University of Braunschweig. In addition, he completed several Executive Programs at the London Business School, Harvard Business School and The Wharton School.
David Burton is the Production Director at Mobius and brings 30 years of experience in production planning, supply chain and manufacturing operations with multinationals like Nissan, Tyco and Timex. Prior to Mobius, David was Head of Operations at the Caterham Cars assembly plant in the UK covering vehicle and chassis production, supply chain and scheduling. While at Timex, Philippines, he oversaw the complete reorganisation of all the business planning functions. He worked for Nissan from the start of the manufacturing operations and contributed to the development of their production scheduling and ordering systems. An ERP expert, David is responsible for setting up the assembly line for Mobius and overseeing all processes and procedures that guarantee world class vehicle output.
Associate Technical Director
John Kavila is the Associate Technical Director at Mobius and brings over 12 years of experience in new product development internationally. Before joining Mobius, John worked at Caterpillar, located in the UK, within the Electronics R&D Division as the NPI Manager for the electronics programs for several machines built in Europe. He is a graduate of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) with an Electromechanical Systems Engineering degree. John is also a chartered engineer of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (UK) as well as a 6 Sigma Black Belt bringing experience in process and product improvement methodologies. John manages the local engineering team on current and new product development initiatives.
Marchand McDonald is the Quality Director at Mobius and brings 29 years of Automotive experience spanning production, process engineering and manufacturing quality at General Motors South Africa. He also has extensive experience in the implementation, coaching and auditing of the GM Global Manufacturing System in a multitude of countries across various continents. Prior to Mobius, Marchand was Plant Manager of the Isuzu Truck Plant in South Africa. Prior to this, he fulfilled multiple roles in production and support areas. Marchand is responsible for total quality management to ensure that Mobius is producing and selling the highest quality product possible.
