Mobius was founded by Joel Jackson, an internationally-awarded entrepreneur recognised in the Forbes 30 under 30, Clinton Global Initiative, TED Global and the UN. Before Mobius, Joel worked on business strategy with an acclaimed microforestry social enterprise in rural Kenya. It was here that he first experienced the challenges facing millions of people throughout the continent without access to appropriate forms of transport. Joel also worked as a Management Consultant, advising top Fortune 500 companies across Europe and North America. He is the recipient of the TED Fellowship, Wired Innovation Fellowship and Echoing Green Fellowship and a graduate of Imperial College with a first class degree in Computer Science.

Nicolas Guibert is Chief Executive Officer at Mobius and brings over 30 years experience in the automotive industry. He recently worked for Jaguar Land Rover as Jaguar Plant Operations Director and Global Manufacturing Transformation Director. He also worked at PSA Group, where he held multiple manufacturing roles within the group and led greenfield and brownfield projects across diverse countries and cultures like Argentina, Chile, Czech Republic and China. As Toyota Peugeot Citroen Automobile’s Executive Vice President, Nicolas grew to be a true Lean Expert. He has a master’s degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Nantes in France.

John Kavila is the Technical Director at Mobius and brings over 12 years of experience in new product development internationally. Before joining Mobius, John worked at Caterpillar, located in the UK, within the Electronics R&D Division as the NPI Manager for the electronics programs for several machines built in Europe. He is a graduate of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) with an Electromechanical Systems Engineering degree. John is also a chartered engineer of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (UK) as well as a 6 Sigma Black Belt bringing experience in process and product improvement methodologies. John manages the local engineering team on current and new product development initiatives.
